         Cosmic Spacehead is a quirky unknown game on the Sega Genesis published by the creative Codemasters company. In this game, you play as Cosmic, an alien who has discovered a new planet (Earth) but no one believes him. He must get back to Earth with a camera this time so he can return with proof of the new planet.

         You help Cosmic get around in two different ways. One mode is where you are in a building or some other locale, and you must use and interact with items to solve puzzles and riddles. The other mode is called an "Action Scene", which is in between all places on the map. Action Scenes are the only places where Cosmic can die. Once you complete an Action Scene, you do not have to do it again.

         One of the best parts about this game though is the soundtrack to it. It has incredible variety, and unique clarity given the fact that it is on a 16 bit system. Some of the tracks from the game are simply amazing. While I do not like some of them (19 and 20 are my favorites) you may find that you like other ones. Either way it's a great download just to get a taste from one of the Genesis' more innovative games.
