| The End Of All That | |||
Growing up, All That was one of the best shows on Nickelodeon. Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchel, Lori Beth Denberg, and the others were there to fill that gap in me that happened when What Would You Do? and Nick Arcade were cancelled and eventually taken off the air. I saw all of the first episodes, starting from its debut in 1994. All That's variety is another leading inspiration of The Radio F Show. If it was a shitty day, Good Burger would be there later to make it better. If I got sick, Cooking With Randy & Mandy was the cure. Today that is not the case. Today, All That is infested with actors that make Ashlee Simpson's SNL blooper look like the next big Broadway show. Young actors grow up and move on, but their replacements should honor their works, not rape them like a manic pedophile. Kel is the ONLY Ed for Good Burger, and that is the way the skit should have retired, not with some new faggot who will NEVER be as awesome as Kel Mitchel. I am against the new All That 100% (I worked with Newgrounds legen StrawberryClock in "The All That Collection" which ended up being a total stab at the new cast, and the viewers agreed with all of us.). When they got rid of the rest of the original cast and frantically assigned talentless actors it officially killed the last good show on Nickelodeon. When I was a kid, Nickelodeon was made up of awesome game shows and fresh, but clean, comedy. Today, Nickelodeon is a steaming sess pool of rehashed and reheated shit you've seen over and over again. Nickelodeon is no longer "The Kids Network". It should rightfully be renamed "The Emo Faggot And Confused Teenager Network". Nickelodeon has raped anything they had going for them by trying to reuse what used to be awesome on that channel, and desperately trying to have the same shows they used to, but with "modern" bullshit: Double Dare (Marc Summers) >>> Double Dare 2000 (Jason Harris) Wild N Crazy Kids (1990) >>> Wild N Crazy Kids (2000) Snick >>> TeeNICK Rugrats >>> All Grown Up Welcome Freshmen >>> Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide Clarissa Explains It All >>> Zoey101 Kenan & Kel >>> Drake & Josh Blue's Clues (Steven Burns) >>> Blue's Clues (Donovan Patton) My Brother And Me >>> Romeo! Out Of Control >>> The Amanda Show And sadly... You Can't Do That On Television! >>> All That Mercifully, the ratings have finally come into play. All That will be terminated after its tenth season. It's not the end of a legacy, because that legacy ended as soon as the last remaining original actor, Joshua Server, was replaced with stereotypical outrageous party animal black kid Nick Cannon. Even Kevin Kopelow the stage guy quit when Josh left. All That should have been able to die a quiet and undisturbed death. Instead, Nickelodeon tied it to the back of their truck and dragged it so everyone could watch it until it futally gave its final breaths, all for marketing. Good job Nickelodeon. Now give us All That Seasons 1 - 6 on DVD. Fuck Seasons 7 and up, those hardly deserved being on TV to begin with. -RFS |
